Upon your arrival at Malaga airport we will depart for Seville. Upon arrival to Seville there will be a tour of the city. We will go for a guided visit to Seville’s historic center, which will include the Royal palaces and gardens built for a Christian king in Islamic Architecture and its Giralda Tower, once the biggest Minaret in the world. It is said the Muezzin used to ride up on a horse to call the Azan. We will take a stroll along the river Guadalavir, visit the old quarter and Torre del Oro before we head to the hotel for the evening.
After breakfast we will leave for Cordoba making our way to the archaeological site of Madinat al Zahra. The city built by Caliph Abdul Rahman III. Here we will see the Palace ruins and take a visit to the new exhibitions and museum. After lunch we will take a guided tour to Cordoba Masjid, one of the most important and largest Masjids in its time.
Overnight Cordoba
After breakfast we check out from our hotel and make our way to Granada, the last Muslim Kingdom that held out until the very end. Upon our arrival we go straight to the Alhambra to visit its gardens and palaces. (3-4 hrs). We will then check into our hotel and free time to experience the beautiful city
of Granada with it’s Muslim quarter, Moroccan shops and halal restaurants Free evening in Granada.
Overnight Granada
After Breakfast we will depart for Alpujarra along the route of the Nasrids. On the way we will stop at the old Muslim bridge and the Muslim fort/castle, which is the location of one of the last stands made by the Muslims of Alpujarra before a late lunch at restaurant Barakah. We will then set of for Malaga airport.
