Andalucian Routes is proud to offer our Heritage Tour which was developed and debuted in 2010. Islamic History is full of stories where people travelled to sit at the feet of scholars to gain knowledge. Andalucian Routes wanted to revive this tradition and thirst for knowledge and make it possible for Muslims to travel with a scholar and discover lost history. We do this by teaching history in a way that is relevant to you and ensuring that the lessons you learn whilst on your journey with us allows you to connect with your heritage and spirituality. The Heritage Tour has been described in many ways including being a “Mini Umrah” or “Life Changing Journey” and “Once in a lifetime experience”.
The Heritage Tour is a completely unique experience where we combine travel, history and knowledge. This is achieved by travelling and visiting unique Islamic historical sites in Spain, Morocco and Turkey. We provide in depth knowledge from expert guides during excursions to site visits, and then reinforce that information with interactive presentations by our travelling scholar. When we were in the selection process of who the right scholar would be, one name stood out from the rest.
This tour promises to be the best heritage tour yet with visits to Malaga, Seville Cordoba, Granada and Alpujjarra.
